Gypsy Wind is Tampa Bay's premiere acoustic newgrass, swing and gypsy jazz ensemble. Its versatile sound carries listeners on a musical journey across borders and through time from the Kentucky bluegrass of Bill Monroe to Django Reinhardt's gypsy swing. Gypsy has performed live with violin virtuoso Vassar Clements as well as many shared playbills with such bluegrass greats as The Rice Brothers, Tim & Molly O'Brien, Mark Johnson, Alan Shadd and Dan Hicks.
